The surgery is open as normal but with some changes noted below.
1. Please do not attend without an appointment. Please contact us and will do a phone triage first.
3. If you have been given an appointment to attend please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment and call us when you arrive at the practice. This is for your safety and to reduce contact with others also.
4. If you have Covid concerns or fever/cough or shortness of breathe, call us on (01) 2951238 for triage or lukedoc on (01) 4065158 if out of hours

Rowan Family Practice is a General Practice located in the heart of Churchtown, Dublin 14 offering friendly and modern medical care to all patients. Our team of Doctors, nurses and secretarial staff strive to provide excellent medical care for all your needs whether acute or chronic.

DR NAOMI JOHNSON
Dr Johnson completed medicine in University College Dublin in 2008. She completed her General Practice training in 2017 in the Mid Leinster GP Training Scheme. She is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners. Between 2008 and 2012 she worked in a number of specialist hospital posts both in Ireland and Australia, including in gastroenterology, cardiology and geriatrics.
Dr Johnson completed the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has special interests in women’s health, family planning, paediatrics and health promotion/improvement.

DR EDEL DOORLEY

Dr Doorley completed her medical training from the University of Liverpool in 2006. She underwent training in Acute Medicine in Liverpool for many years before returning to Ireland to complete her GP training with the Irish College of General Practitioners. Following completion of a Masters in Clinical Education, she participates in regular teaching of GP trainees and resuscitation training.
Dr Doorley has a special interest in elderly medicine, having spent several years working with patients with memory complaints , as well as interests in women’s health, pediatrics and palliative care. Furthermore she has a keen interest in sports injuries, having completed a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine in 2017.

NURSE JACKIE GREEN
We are very fortunate to have a practice nurse who is an integral part of our team. Having worked in hospitals and clinics in Ireland, England and Australia, practice nurse Jackie brings a vast array of experience to the practice. She is skilled in blood taking, ECG's, blood pressure monitoring, cervical smear checks and vaccinations. Furthermore she has extensive training in wound dressings. She is also interested in management of chronic illnesses and will be leading our diabetic clinic with a focus on patient education and disease management.
